Olivio Resort in Himarë is a residential and hospitality complex designed with a modern structural system that combines engineering efficiency with architectural elegance. The project was developed through close coordination between architecture and structural design, ensuring a balanced integration of form, function, and durability.
The load-bearing system consists of reinforced concrete flat slabs integrated with shear walls positioned along the main axes of the building. These walls provide the primary horizontal and vertical stability, ensuring the structural stability of the building under seismic actions and wind loads.
The use of the flat slab system allows uniform load distribution, smooth ceiling surfaces, and easy integration of technical installations, supporting a clean and flexible spatial organization. The structure is designed for material efficiency and high performance under coastal environmental conditions, reflecting contemporary standards of engineering design and sustainable construction.
